BodyTalk
What
is BodyTalk?
The BodyTalk System™ is a combination of advanced
yoga, advaitic philosophy, modern physics, mathematics, the energy dynamics of
acupuncture, the clinical findings of applied kinesiology and Western medical
expertise developed in the mid-nineties by Dr. John Veltheim.
The BodyTalk System™ is simple, safe, non-invasive and
fast. It is highly effective and will change the way you look at health
care forever.
BodyTalk has the following major assets:
- simplicity
- safety
- speed of results
- effectiveness
How
can BodyTalk help me?
In the ideal world our body and energy systems are working
in harmony, communicating needs and instructions to each other. However in
our fast paced world, it is easy for our energy systems to become unsynchronized
and to lose communication with the body. Re-synchronizing our energy
systems enables the body's mechanisms to function at optimum levels; preventing
disease and rapidly accelerating the healing process.
What
makes BodyTalk different?
While most Western medical practices and even alternative
medicine is based on the treatment of symptoms, the BodyTalk System™ is
considered to be a "holistic" system. Meaning, it treats the
entire system, not just the symptoms.
The BodyTalk System™ recognizes that in each of us there
lies the innate knowing of who we are and what makes our bodies work. This
innate wisdom carries the answer to our health care dilemmas.
For example, think about a time you may have cut your
finger. Your body bleeds to clean the wound of dirt and impurities and
then creates a scab over the wound to protect it while the cut heals. Your
body innately knows how to heal from the injury.
BodyTalk is a stand-alone system that can be used to treat
many health problems. It can also be seamlessly integrated into any health
care system, increasing its effectiveness and promoting faster healing.
What
happens during a BodyTalk session?
The practitioner establishes a
connection to the client through neuromuscular
feedback. This feedback provides a
"yes/no" answer to questions the practitioner
asks the client's innate wisdom.
Following a
comprehensive protocol (pictured left) the practitioner can establish
exactly what balancing the body needs. The
practitioner and client make a connection to the areas
needing repair. The practitioner then taps the
client's head and then taps the client's chest
gently. The tapping is based on a Hatha Yoga
technique and biofeedback has shown when the tapping
occurs there is a major increase in brain activity in
relation to those body parts.
